Sky Blue Dress

Welcome to A Quirky Twist! When I first started my blog I thought of my style as very eclectic and a tad bit random. Now, as I continue to make new posts I’m starting to see a much more definitive style pattern. I’ve noticed I really like to wear cool tones and neutrals, especially blue. My favorite pattern is anything floral with a close second being stripes. I also tend to buy and wear mainly skirts and dresses especially t-shirt dresses. The overarching theme of my style is definitely comfort, over trendy street styles.

Occasionally as you’ve seen on this blog I do branch out of these style patterns, but I keep coming back to these types of clothes. As I write my blog and read through and look at others Instagrams, I find I tend to like people with their own unique sense of style and how they take trends and make them their own. I also like watching how people’s style evolves over the years and I can’t wait to see how mine changes in the future.

Today’s outfit is a simple blue t-shirt dress. This would look great for a back to school outfit, it’s casual but does make it seem like you tried to look put together. I paired my favorite casual sneakers with this outfit, which are perfect for walking around campus in. I kept my accessories to a minimum to keep the outfit simple. I like how the accessories look with the dress and my wooden watch matches well too.
