Cookies and Cream Brownies

Welcome to A Quirky Twist! Today I’m sharing with you guys another baking post, this one about cookies and cream brownies. When I found this recipe in high school I loved it, because Oreos and brownies are two of my favorite desserts. I was always curious about how ice cream would work with brownies, but you really can’t taste it once they’re baked. I also as you can tell, like to use the seasonal Oreos more than the regular ones because I think it gives them a cooler look than plain white. The recipe is below and I’ll be back with another outfit post on Wednesday.

Ingredients

1 box of brownie mix of your choice

Eggs & Oils per the brownie box instructions

1 heaping half cup (6 oz) Cookies and Cream ice cream

¼ cup hot fudge topping (chilled or room temperature)

~16 Oreos

Directions

Preheat oven and spray pan generously with cooking spray. Combine brownie mix, eggs, and oil as directed on the back of the box, but don’t add the water.

Add ice cream and hot fudge to the brownie batter.

Stir to combine.

Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking dish.

Layer with Oreos, then top with remaining batter.

Bake for 40-50 minutes or as directed on the back of the box.
