Red Tassels

Hi and welcome to A Quirky Twist! Today I’m taking a lot of my things up to Chapel Hill, to make move-in day on Saturday easier, especially since it’s supposed to rain. Anyways with the first day of classes in less than a week, I thought I would feature an outfit for the first day of class. Every first day of school I used to wear jeans and a pretty top, because I never really wanted to wear shorts due to dress code. This outfit would’ve been a good one for me to wear then and a good one for me to wear now. I really love how white jeans can brighten up a dark shirt like this maroon/burgundy color.

One of my favorite trends of the summer has been a lace-up top, and I love that this one has the added feature of tassels. Like I said I think this outfit is a great first day of school outfit, or something to wear when running errands, or hanging out with your friends during the day. I added my gold bangles featured in this post to give the outfit more color, and I paired it with my favorite summer sandal.
